We kept the design of this website very simple. Black blocks with plenty of white. The buttons for purchasing or calling the store are red. The white is to show-off their stunning range of furniture, without the customers getting overwhelmed and confused. we made sure that the images were large, and that no more than 6 products are shown on one page. Very easy for the customers to browse. The store has a range of thousands of products. We did not want the customers to get confused and frustrated when browsing the products.

The photographs were supplied by our clients. These photos are the only places with colour. This also led us to create a monochrome site. Let the products stand out and speak for themselves.

We used the Magento Platform for creating this site. This is an open source software. Which means that it is free to use. It is also one of the most popular e-commerce platforms in the world. This give our client the confidence to be able to approach any Web Developers, Graphic Designers, Marketers in the future for further work. Magento is the industry standard used globally.

The client’s staff were given training on how to update the website with new products, and basic content. There are free resources widely available on further Magento training. However, our clients have opted to have us maintaining the site for advanced security and design /development work.

When the staff login to their site, they have a wealth of information available to them. Dashboard data provides a snapshot of lifetime sales, average order amount, recent orders, and search terms. The chart shows completed orders and amounts for the selected date range, and can be generated from either dynamic, real-time data, or historical aggregated data.
